The purpose of R U OK? Day (14 September) is to put a spotlight on mental health and to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with people around them and support anyone struggling with life.
Facts and Stats

Males are around 3x more likely to die by suicide than females. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suicide rates are double the rest of the population.

Two in five Australians aged 16-85 years (43.7% or 8.6 million people) had experienced a mental disorder at some time in their lives.
